Following a number of significant recent appointments, we are expanding our healthcare design team and are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist with a strong interest in technical design and project delivery.

The role offers the opportunity to contribute to major healthcare and public sector projects from concept through to completion, working alongside an experienced team of architects and technologists.

The Role

Successful candidates will play a key role in the delivery of complex healthcare and public sector projects, including:

  • Preparing and coordinating planning, tender and construction documentation

  • Developing detailed technical work packages using Revit and BIM workflows

  • Coordinating project information with architects, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers

  • Resolving technical and multidisciplinary coordination issues

  • Supporting compliance with Irish Building Regulations, statutory requirements and healthcare design standards

  • Participating in technical meetings, project reviews and site inspections

  • Reviewing contractor submissions and responding to technical queries during construction

  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to the development of technical and BIM standards within the practice

We are looking for:

RIAI or CIAT membership, or progression towards RIAI Architectural Technologist membership or MCIAT status, would be an advantage but is not essential.

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Strong technical design, detailing and project delivery skills

  • Experience delivering complex built projects, ideally within the healthcare, public sector or education sectors

  • Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and building systems

  • Experience preparing planning, tender and construction documentation

  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and project information

  • Good knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and statutory approval processes

  • Experience of Public Works Contracts would be an advantage

  • Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery

  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills

  • A proactive, collaborative and solution-focused approach
