KJA appointed for new surgical hub and ambulatory oncology at Letterkenny University Hospital
We are delighted to have been appointed, in joint venture with HLM Architects, to lead the design team for the new Surgical Hub and Ambulatory Oncology development at Letterkenny University Hospital.
The development will include a new two-theatre surgical hub located beside the existing hospital building, along with 30 ambulatory day oncology chairs (15 new and 15 replacement). The design will allow for future vertical expansion, addressing the long-term need for additional bed capacity in the region.
A full Development Control Plan (DCP) for the Letterkenny University Hospital site is also being carried out by Kevin Jackson Architects to guide the sequencing of future developments.
We look forward to working with HSE West North West, Letterkenny University Hospital, HLM Architects and the wider design team as the project progresses through the design stages.
