Site Visit - 96 Bed Acute Ward Block, University Hospital Limerick

Recently, the team visited the new University Hospital Limerick ward block, which is nearing completion and which we designed with O’Connell Mahon Architects. It was exciting to see yet another of our projects taking shape and coming to life.

The design of the building develops the new urban edge for the UHL campus and is realised in a new glazed cladding system incorporating triangular projecting bays which provide an appropriate scale and modulation to the facade.

It’s also good to see the next phase, a 4 storey Shell and Core extension progressing well alongside the ward block.
