Winners at the Building & Architect of the Year Awards 2026

KJA is delighted to share that we have won the Medical and Health category at the Building and Architect of the Year Awards 2026 for our New 96 Bed Inpatient Ward Block at University Hospital Limerick.

Designed in partnership with O’Connell Mahon Architects, the project was delivered over a live 24 hour Emergency and Renal Department. The completed ward block has since helped inform the HSE’s Exemplar Wards design approach, supporting a high quality and uplifting environment for patients and staff while contributing positively to the wider campus.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project to life. It was a true team effort, and we are very pleased to see it recognised.
